Suitcase Size
The size of the single suitcase has come into question. It’s in the 27-inch category which not only fits all airline criteria, it also prevents you from packing overweight — which can tack on maddening fees these days. By eliminating a second bag, we save some $200 in luggage fees on our round trip.
Packing Reminder
Sudden arrival of cooler weather reminds us just how chilly/cool/downright cold it can get in Panicale so we’re re-examing and re-adjusting our piles of clothing prepared for packing. And brings to mind the fact that it rains quite a bit more there than it does here
Another Opportunity
Had breakfast with a Swiss tourism team and group of travel writers this morning and tempted to take a skiing jaunt while we’re in Panicale. Highly unlikely, but possible. Swiss border’s only about a four or five hour drive away.
