change them yourself.
Living A Long Life . . .
. . . sounds so interesting and appealing,
while “getting old”
— the simple truth —
sounds cold and crotchety.
Yet they both mean the same thing.
A Lot Of People . . .
. . . say they don’t believe
what they just heard,
but they tell me anyway.
All Those Youngsters . . .
. . . dancing around us
want to live forever,
they just don’t want to get old
like us.
It’s Supper Bowl Sunday . . .
. . . we’re getting
wings,
pizza and
pot-luck / bring-yer-own
when they open the bar at 4:30.
