As Inflation Spirals Out of Sight. . .
. . . people have begun dieting,
not to lose weight
but to cut down on expenses.
Most New Books . . .
. . . are forgotten within a year,
especially by the people who borrowed them.
Scientists and Sociologists . . .
. . . are predicting that technical advances —
think drones and robots —
and the increasing demand for more free time
will result in us working as little as two hours a day.
A big question still to resolved is
whether that will be before or after our coffee break.
What Happened to the Worst Boss . . .
. . .you ever had?
was a question I asked at my most recent Flashbacks session.
Everyone had a story to tell and was eager to share it.
I didn’t elaborate on my contribution but just pointed out that
my two worst bosses were at the same place at the same time
and both died ugly deaths.
